Elizabethtown Sports Park Hires New Marketing Manager  

(Elizabethtown, KY) January 31, 2022: Elizabethtown Sports Park, a premier outdoor sports facility, located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky managed by The Sports Facilities Companies (SFC), is proud to welcome Lauren Bowman as their Marketing Manager. Bowman comes from a background of sports photography, website design, and social media experience making her a natural fit for this position. 

Bowman expressed her excitement in accepting this role stating: “I am grateful and honored to accept the position as the Marketing Manager for The Elizabethtown Sports Park. The team here is incredible and they are boots on the ground types of people. I am excited to work with them to create meaningful experiences for our athletes, coaches, and families.” 

Lauren, originally from Bardstown, just outside of E-town, joins the Elizabethtown team with 4 years of experience in the marketing industry. Bowman spent the last 3 years working in the creative media department for The Nelson County Schools. She was instrumental in creating meaningful communication strategies for families, staff, and students. Also, while in this role, Bowman collaborated with Athletic Directors and Coaches across the district to take sports photos, create websites for individual teams and build energy around the programs. 

General Manager of the sports park, Todd Yancey shared, “As we reflect over the past decade, we are pulling memories and gathering partners who believed in the Sports Park from Day one. Lauren will play an important role in planning this year’s celebration as well as an ongoing marketing strategy for our park.”  

In this position Lauren will connect with community partners as well as coaches, players and families to ensure guests have the best experience possible while visiting Elizabethtown. Lauren will also work heavily in community events to enhance the experience alongside her team. Bowman will be an integral member of the team as the Sports Park gears up for their 10^th year anniversary in 2022.
